Each presentation in this album is dramatized to provide an entertaining venture for the listener. This recording is programmed with authentic Indian chants and drum songs to set the mood. There is a blending of the Salish Indian language and sound effects to delight the young.

This album is to be an educational product for all young children, especially kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as an enjoyable cultural experience.

American Indian legends are unique and very meaningful, but it is most unfortunate that they have been neglected. Mainly we feel that their content has been misunderstood. Indian legends are traditional expressions of Indian education. We feel this is the beauty of Indian legends. They are not scientific teachings, but learning experiences from which wisdom flows. Indian thought is an harmonious link between man nature.

We have made a sincere effort to bring forth the intent of Indian Wisdom Stories. The main program on this album consists of narratives told by Jay Silverheels, a Mohawk Indian actor known for his roles in feature films and television (Jay portrayed "Tonto" in the LONE RANGER series). It was with great respect that we sought Clay Silverheels to enhance the listening pleasure of this production.
