- Egilona was the wife of Gatón de Bierzo, count of Astorga and Bierzo. Her parentage is unknown[1]. They had four children: Vermudo, Savarico, Ermesinda, and Patruina.
Egilo (?) was born circa 825. She married Gatón, conde del Bierzo, son of Ramiro Iº Bermúdez, rey de Asturias and señora gallega Gontrada (?), before 850. Child:
