It is thought he died before 1790 because none of this name were shown in the census. Perhaps he went to New York with his son, Cornelius, III. There were Annables in Saratoga, Saratoga County, NY according to the Ny 1790 Census.
There was a Captain Cornelius Annibal mentioned in a diary of Simeon Perkins, also a captain who sailed the seas to Liverpool, Turkish Islands, and St. Croix, Virgin Islands. The diary is located in the archives of Halifax, Nova Scotia. This Cornelius looks to be one and the same mentioned.
