1. | FOSTER Edward was born in Kent, Enland (son of FOSTER Timothy and HATHERLY Elgin). Notes: He was a lawyer by profession, but after he came to New England followed husbandry. He settled in Kent street, Scituate, in 1633, and was taxed there June 2, 1633. He was one of the founders of the church January 8, 1635, was deputy to the general court 1639 and 1640.
