1. | FOSTER Timothy was born about 1715 in Walpole, MA (son of FOSTER Timothy). Notes: He was a cordwainer in Walpole and Oxford, Massachusetts. He bought land in the southeast part of Dudley in 1747. He and thirteen sons served in the revolution, aggregating over sixty years of service. 8. | FOSTER Edward was born in Kent, Enland (son of FOSTER Timothy and HATHERLY Elgin). Notes: He was a lawyer by profession, but after he came to New England followed husbandry. He settled in Kent street, Scituate, in 1633, and was taxed there June 2, 1633. He was one of the founders of the church January 8, 1635, was deputy to the general court 1639 and 1640.
