===Origins===Isabeau de Maligny dit Marigny was the daughter of [[Maligny-3|Gilles de Maligny, Seigneur de Maligny]], and [[Argenteuil-3|Marguerite d'Argenteuil]].[Société des sciences historiques et naturelles de l'Yonne. ===Inheritance and Lands===On 9 Nov 1390, Isabeau was given her inheritance upon the division of the estate after the death of her mother, Marguerite d'Argenteuil:

On the estate of his mother Marguerite d'Argenteuil, wife of the late Miles de Maligny, and after the division with his brothers Gaucher de Maligny, knight, and Miles de Maligny, squire, fell to the said Isabeau:
:"The upper, middle and lower justice of the land of Beugnon, with an income of ten pounds tournaments;"
:"The censives, payable on Saint-Rémi, to the value of thirty tournament sols"
:"The customs due to said place on the same day, "which may well be worth a sextier of oats and there are two solz delfault tournaments that those who fail to pay said censives and customs on said day owe""
