Her story is also in her father Nicolas biography “ Dimanche, 24 novembre 1641, le père de famille présente son premier enfant à baptiser au Jésuite Jacques de Laplace, missionnaire arrivant de Miscou en Acadie. Celui-ci baptisa la bambine sous le prénom de Marie-Madeleine devant son parrain Pierre Legardeur de Repentigny et sa marraine Marie Barbier, femme de Marsolet.
