      Pierre was married twice, the first marriage was with Marthe Renaudin, daughter of Jean, mariner, and Marie Robineau, (b/bapt 26 Nov 1604 buried 20 Sept 1637), with whom he had 3 children: Pierre, b 5 bapt 14 Aug 1633 buried 24 Oct 1645; Marie-1, b 22 bapt 25 Apr 1636 (widow of Pierre Richard, portefaix); and a daughter buried 9 Sept 1637

      He remarried with Jeanne Perrin and had 5 children with her:

      Things were dangerous for Huguenots in La Rochelle in the 1650s. To ensure their safety, he sent his wife and 3 children to the colony, they were hired on contract to go there with his permission.
