- == Biography ==Jacques was born about 1520. He was the son of Jean Six, Seigneur de Regalles, and his wife Valentine de Thieffries. According to John Peters: "Jean and Valentine died before the troubles began, but their son Jacques, who lived at Baisieux and inherited land at Rigalles, lost it all when he was hanged a heretic on 9 April 1568."

He appears in A. L. E. Verheyden's collection of people convicted by the Council of Troubles as:
"No. 9.281 Six, Jacques Lille Seigneur A.G.R., C.T., n° 6, f(1567-1573). Bruxelles Palais des Academies. 1961. Page 366.
There is no notation there that he was executed, and as far as can be determined he does not appear in Edmond de Coussemaker's ''Troubles religieux du 16e siècle dans la Flandre Maritime, 1560-1570.'' His death information is widely reported by reliable sources, but so far no primary source has been found.
