{{Canada Nouvelle-France}} Anne Leper was born about 1647, though her origins in France are unknown. She came to Canada in 1673, at about age 26. Some time in 1673, Anne married François Pinsonnault dit Lafleur at Saint-Ours. Though no marriage contract has been found, it is known that neither spouse could sign their names. François and Anne settled at Saint-Ours, where Captain Saint-Ours granted him land on 5 November 1673 (notary Adhémar). Son Pierre was born at Saint-Ours 13 April 1674, followed by Anne (baptized 02 November 1676, Sorel) and Marguerite (born about 1680). Jean dit Jacques was baptized 19 March 1682 at Contrecoeur, followed by François (15 August 1684) and Agnès (02 July 1687). In 1691 the family moved to Montréal, where Marie-Anne was baptized 13 January and buried 22 October 1693. In 1696, the family moved to Longueuil, then to La Prairie in 1710. On 22 July 1724 Anne and François gave all their possessions to their children, on the condition that they be taken care of for the rest of their lives in return. François Pinsonnault dit Lafleur died about 8 pm 26 January 1731 and was buried the next day at La Prairie. Anne Leper died at La Prairie 29 January 1732 and was buried there the next day. From: Margaret Breedlove (e-mail removed) Subject: [Q-R] Filles du Roi: Anne Leper m.
