| Notes |
- Earca was the daughter of Loarn, King of Dalraida in Alba.
Muireadach, son of Eoghan, married Earca, the daughter of Loarn King of Dalriada in Scotland. They had many children, including Muirecetach Mac Earca Mor and Fergus Mac Earca Mor. Fergus Mor became an ancestor of the Kings of Scotland. [1]
There is some confusion in genealogies between sons attributed to Erca -
Erc Maceochaid, Erc of Dalriada - the son of Eochaid Muinremuir and Erca, a daughter of Loarn mac Eirc. [2]
and
Muiredach mac Eógain of the Uí Néill - whose parents were said to have been Muiredach mac Eógain and Erca, daughter of Loarn mac Eirc. [3]
both spouses and sons are included in this profile
