| Notes |

Biography
Supposed to be king in what in modern-day is Scania/Skåne, Sweden.
According to Snorre Sturlasson he also became king in Svitjod, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Saxland, Kurland, Estland, Gårdarike and Northern England (Northumbria). He is, however, not mentioned at all in Saxo's Grammaticus Gesta Danorum, where Sigurd Ring instead is the king to follow after Ingjald Illråde.
Ynglingasaga
Ivar Vidfame son of Halfdan III Haraldsson, who was brother of Gudrod King of Skaane. Gudrod's wife was Aasa daughter of Ingjald the Bad. She brought it about that Gudrod killed Halfdan then brought about the death of King Gudord, fleeing to her father. With Gudrod dead Ivar returned to Skaane and, raising an army there, invaded Sweden. Seeing their end Ingjald and Aasa set their hall afire and were killed. Ivar then subdued all Sweden. [1] Please note that there might be translation errors in this book as there actually was no "Sweden" when this profile is supposed to have lived.
