  Notes	George was a graduate of both the University of Massachusetts and the University of Pennsylvania. He served in the Army in World War II, attaining the rank of major and earning several awards for horsemanship. He served in the Pacific Theater as a battalion operations officer. After the war, he worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a veterinarian in the Augusta office. Mr. Bragdon was a former member of the Manchester Grange. He was an avid gardener with a love of lilacs, day lilies and roses. He also loved the ocean. George is survived by his wife, Mildred (Bak) Bragdon; three daughters, Cynthia A. Pasquarello of Arlington, Mass., Deborah E. Bragdon of Cape Elizabeth and Mary Ellen Storey of Broadview Heights, Ohio; three grandchildren, Amelia Tobin and Philip and Kara Storey; and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Mikayla Rose Tobin.
