From Der nord Westen Newspaper Obituraries: 17 May 1900 Henry W. Brown, an old resident of our city, died Sunday morning , (May 13, 1900) following a heart attack. The deceased, who was born in 1814, came to Manitowoc in 1849 where he has lived ever since. He leaves sorrowing widow, three children, 23 grandchildren and 5 great granchildren. His funeral was Tuesday. (May 15, 1900)
