- Obituary: Harrison (Harry) K. Davison, who during his 36 years of residence in Ft. Myers, mapped nearly all of the city and county subdivisions, died Tuesday morning at Lee Memorial hospital. He had recently undergone a major operation at the hospital. He was 60 years old. A native of Polo, IL, Mr. Davison came to Ft. Myers in 1910. At that time he was associated with his father, Joseph A. Davison, in a Civil Engineering firm. After the death of his father, Harry Davison continued as an independent civil engineer. His firm recorded surveys on a major portion of the subdivisions established during the 1924-1925 Florida boom. Real estate brokers in Ft. Myers turned to him in all matters related to land surveys and they were unanimous in expressing the view that Mr. H. K. Davison's loss is a blow to them both personally and professionally. He also mapped most of the county.
