Brown d. 4/3/1947, 78y, Malta, #25108The Saratogian newspaper, Friday, April 4, 1947. Deaths. Mrs. William W. Brown.Mrs. Lettie Leach Brown, 78, wife of William W. Brown, Saratoga Lake, died yesterday at 3:30 p.m. at Manor Rest, Round Lake, following a three weeks' illness. Mrs. Brown was born and lived her entire life in the Town of Stillwater. Survivors besides her husband are one son, William Wallace Brown Jr.; one granddaughter, Hazel L. Brown, and one grand-son, William Wallace Brown 3rd., all of Saratoga Lake, and one half-sister, Mrs. Nellie Leach VanDyke, Saratoga Springs. Funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the J. Dwight Dunn Funeral Home, 319 Park Ave., Mechanicville. The Rev. Earl D. Wooddell, pastor of the Memorial Baptist Church, Mechanicville, will officiate. Burial will be in Stillwater Union Cemetery.
